CRAB ISLAND TECHNICAL AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION TRAINING FOUNDATION (CITVETF) is a registered not for profit and non-political organisation established in 2020, through the initiative of the National Assembly Member (NAM) for Banjul North, Hon. Ousman Sillah, to revive and transform the former Crab Island Junior Secondary Technical School in Banjul into a technical and vocational education training (TVET) Centre.

OPENING OF CRAB ISLAND TVET FOUNDATION

Crab Island Secondary School has been one of the most outstanding and popular schools in its heydays, not only in the capital city of Banjul but the Gambia as a whole, as many students from all over the country, who are now responsible members of society, had passed through this educational institution.

The school was closed down in 2012 and was deeply missed by many, particularly those who passed through it as students and teachers,

However, with the vision, sense of mission and great leadership of Honourable Ousman Sillah, National Assembly Member (NAM) for Banjul North Constituency and support from his dynamic team and partners, it has now been restored to a national vocational education and training centre for hard and soft skills.
